Product Overview
In an atmosphere of conspiracy, how the relentless desire of a seemingly simple, widowed woman to establish her own children gradually constructs new layers of truth through unfolding events—how, under the guise of motherhood, a cunning scheme for preserving her own lineage creates the conditions for a fratricidal war—this tense narrative unfolds in this Mahabharata-based novel. As the reader progresses, the question will arise again and again: Was Karna truly Kunti’s son, the firstborn Partha? Or was he merely an unfortunate pawn in the chessboard of politics—someone whom the former queen ensnared with the trap of motherhood as a strategic move to protect her own sons?
