Bimal Kanti Ghosh

Bimal Kanti Ghosh is a former Professor in the Jadavpur University, History Department. He was a student of the same university known for his bold pro-people outlook. He was one of the students who defied the then Chief of Army Staff in the 1960s and openly declared himself a communist on the university campus. We have to keep in mind that the days when being left was a ‘crime’ in the eyes of the Government.
