Challenges and Prospects of Development

The edited volume has questioned the very idea of 'development'. Nowadays it has become a key jargon among the policy makers, irrespective of colours. The articles in the volume have stressed the need to revert. Development for whom? Who are gaining and who are being thrown into oblivion? The book is divided in five sections.
