Dhiman Dasgupta

Dhiman Dasgupta is one of those contemporary intellectuals who continue to enrich the fields of Bengali literature and the philosophy of world cinema through the depth and breadth of their thought. In recognition of these achievements, he has received numerous awards. He served as the editor of the complete works of Annadashankar Roy, a monumental collection spanning twenty-five volumes. Through his own writing or editorial supervision, at least three books dedicated to Annadashankar have been published, and three documentary films have been produced based on his screenplays.
